All Signs Point to a King

Dec 21, 2025    Pastor Mike Hendricks

As we conclude our Advent journey through hope, peace, joy, and love, this message turns our attention to the heart of it all: love expressed through true worship. Love is not only the greatest attribute of God—it is the defining mark of those who follow Him. Love moves us beyond belief into devotion, and devotion into worship.

In All Signs Point to a King, we explore how worship flows from what we value most. From the wise men who followed supernatural signs across great distance to lay their treasures at the feet of a child-King, to the woman who poured out her most costly possession in humble, wholehearted devotion, Scripture shows us that worship always costs something—and always reveals who or what holds first place in our lives.

This message invites us to examine what we honor, what we pursue, and what we truly worship. Drawing from Matthew 2, Matthew 22, John 4, and Luke 7, we see that God is still seeking worshipers—those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth, with full devotion, humility, and love. True worship is not passive or convenient; it is intentional, expressive, and deeply personal.

Ultimately, all signs point to Jesus as King—worthy of our love, our trust, and our lives. The question is not if we worship, but who we worship, and what our worship reveals about our hearts.
