How it all started...
THE LIFE CHURCH STARTED IN THE FALL OF 2001
But before this date, there were many great men and women of God who paved the way for The Life Church to begin. Though our name has changed over the years from Valley Chapel, to Valley Christian Fellowship, to The Life Church . . . our vision has remained the same. . . to know God and reach people. We are a vibrant church that loves Jesus and loves the community of the Wood River Valley.

Expanding the vision...
Whether it is through community events, life groups, classes, sermons, worship nights, prayer services, or outreach, everything we do is to display the love of Jesus to the people of Blaine County. We see God doing great things in the Wood River Valley, and it is our joy to partner with Him and help reach the people of this community, introduce them to Jesus, and walk alongside them through discipleship.
Where we are headed...
We believe that God is jealous for the hearts of all His people. We see God moving throughout Idaho, the Pacific Northwest, North America, and the world. We want to be part of that movement however God wants to use us. Our vision is to be a hub for all people to come be filled with the Spirit of God, and then go out and preach the good news to the world.
