Believing to Belonging

In this message, Pastor Mike Hendricks explores the connection between believing in Christ and discovering where we truly belong. From the beginning, God created humanity for relationship with Him, but sin introduced separation, shame, and the feeling of being on the outside looking in.

Through Scripture and the story of Ruth, this message shows how God restores what sin broke. Jesus was rejected so that we could be accepted, and through faith we are adopted into the family of God. When we truly believe, we step into the belonging that God has always intended for us.

This sermon reminds us that our identity is not found in performance, status, or approval from others, but in the truth that we belong to Christ. When we understand that we are His, the fullness of life, purpose, and connection with God begins to unfold.
