Believe to Receive Part 2
In Believe to Receive – Part 2, Pastor Mike continues unpacking the life-changing power of belief. Centered in John 3 and Jesus’ conversation with Nicodemus, this message reminds us that eternal life begins with a simple yet profound act: believing in the One God sent.
Belief is more than mental agreement. It is trust. Commitment. Reliance. It is engaging your whole life with the truth of who Christ is. Hebrews 11 tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Faith connects us to unseen realities and activates God’s possibilities in our everyday lives. It becomes the oxygen of the Kingdom, sustaining us through hardship, doubt, and testing.
This message also confronts the seriousness of unbelief. Scripture makes it clear: believing leads to salvation, while unbelief opens the door to condemnation. From the Israelites in the wilderness to the father who cried out, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief,” we see how doubt can hinder us—and how God graciously meets us in it.
In the Kingdom of God, it is not “seeing is believing,” but “believing is seeing.” Faith steps into the unseen, obeys when it doesn’t fully understand, and stays the course through difficulty. True belief moves us from grace to receiving, from believing to knowing, from belonging to becoming and building.
Without believing, there is no receiving.
Without knowing, there is no growing.
This message will challenge and encourage you to strengthen your faith, silence unbelief, and confidently walk in the promises of God.
Believe.
Belong.
Become.
Build.
